I shot some photos for my friend Cyril (item idem) and his design collaboration for Peter Mountain Works, on a limited edition backpack. Look for them in select stores soon! Item Idem blog here.

I’m very excited to have collaborated with my friend Shabd on her SS12 lookbook, inspired by my project from the Studio Museum residency and featuring still lifes from her studio and working process. Here are a few shots I liked, more coming soon!
I shot a portfolio of gallery front desks in Chelsea last week for DIS Magazine’s labor issue. See it online here.

An outtake from the look book shoot I did for Yara Flinn’s line NOMIA. Model: Bianca Luz / Supreme.
I did a fun shoot for my friends’ online magazine DIS. Here are a few outtakes below, but follow the link to the real thing. And if you haven’t been following DIS yet – DO IT!
I made a short video project for Arcade44, with my friends Darren Kinoshita on styling and Edward Kim at House Casting. It went up a few weeks ago but I’m just getting to putting it up here. To see the video go to Arcade44 here.
Nick and Matt and I decided to get together and put together a shoot, for fun, and also to use to prospect more opportunities. Nick and I did the recent spring project that Line – A Journal published in March, and Matt’s an old friend who does photo production, and I did a portrait of him back in 2005. He and his boyfriend let us use their loft in Tribeca to shoot and it’s always better to shoot in a warm home space. My friend Ed cast two really great guys – Juan and Max – and they were so much fun to work with. Kelsy Osterman was super great with hair.
We decided on doing an editorial for OAK to keep it simple and flexible, and after we finish editing there’ll be more to see!
I just picked up my copy of MUSE Magazine, the current issue is dedicated to model/muse Natasha Poly. I did a contribution in collaboration with the genius Item Idem in drag as his “idol” Poly, amazing stylist Haidee Findlay-Levin and hair/make-up by Blair Jaffer. In the accompanying text on p.113 Calvin Klein misspelled my name, but I think Mpagy reads pretty great!
For those in Paris, Colette will be having a special Natasha Poly event beginning this Friday the 18th.
Claudia Rosa Lukas has a nice feature up on Interview online, with some of the lookbook photos I did of her previous collection in Vienna. See it here.
